U.S. Women Headed To World Cup Soccer Final

The U.S. Women's Soccer Team scored a major victory in the World Cup competition and is heading to the tournaments final.

The U.S. Women beat Germany last night by a score of 2-0 in a well played exciting game that featured it's share of controversy due to some questionable calls. But when the dust settled, the U.S. women were the ones celebration a huge victory.

Among those celebrating this huge win was, of course, Point Pleasant's Christie Rampone. There would be no more fitting conclusion to her amazing World Cup career than a win on Sunday.

The U.S. will play the winner of tonight's game between England and Japan in the World Cup finals on Sunday.
