The 8th Annual Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival Is Coming To Asbury Park
If you are thinking about getting your first tattoo or ready to add to your body art, get inked by some of the world’s best tattoo artists at the 8th Annual Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival July 28th to July 30th in the Convention Hall, Asbury Park.
I attended last year’s tattoo fest and it was quite an experience. When you walk in, it sounds like one big bug zapper. After admiring countless creative designs, I was entertained by the live suspension artists and I stayed for the burlesque and sideshows. There are also tattoo competitions and the Miss Asbury Park Pinup Contest.
Festival hours are as follows:
7/28 Friday: 2 p.m.- 12 a.m.
7/29 Saturday: 12 p.m.- 12 a.m.
7/30 Sunday: 12 p.m.- 8 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per day or you can get a weekend pass for $40. Go for the weekend pass and be sure to check out the midget wrestling! Children under 12 years of age enter for free. Over 150 tattoo artists are waiting for a blank canvas. Be sure to stop by the NJ Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio to show us your ink!
