Volunteers Needed For Asbury Lake Clean Up

Friends and Citizens of Wesley Lake are looking for volunteers to help with a lake clean up this weekend.

The Wesley Lake Clean Up will take place tomorrow (Saturday July 21st) from 9:00am to 12:00 noon. The meeting place will be at Wesley Lake at the western footbridge on the Asbury side, Lake Ave. and Emory St., across from Biergarten.

Gloves, bags and water will be provided. will also be a limited number of rakes, nets and pickers so please bring anything you personally like to use. Canoes and kayaks are welcome if you have one to use, according to the Friends and Citizens of Wesley Lake Facebook page.

The event is weather permitting, so remember to check their Facebook page if the weather is in question. There is no rain date for the clean up.
