Vote! Monmouth/Ocean’s Best Personal Trainers/Facilities – Elite 8

Last Tuesday based on suggestions from Facebook fans of The Point and Yelp, we started our journey to name Monmouth and Ocean Counties best personal trainer or fitness facility.

During the first week of voting, I told people to email me if they thought their trainer or gym should be included in the contest. No exaggeration, I received at least 300 emails with suggestions. I tried to respond to everyone and get them included as best I could.

I was expecting this contest to be competitive because folks in the fitness world are passionate and competitive. I didn't think things would get this crazy!

When the poll closed there were nearly 20,000 votes. That is impressive. Thanks to everyone who participated and took the time to reach out regarding their personal trainers. However, the competition must march forward.

Congratulations to the Elite 8! These are the trainers and facilities that received the most votes (in no particular order.) Keep the voting going! This round will continue through next Tuesday, February 19 at 12 p.m. The biggest vote-getters will advance to our final four. Good luck!
