What an October! Without question, all of the Monmouth County high schools brought it. Our final showdown was between Matawan and Mater Dei. And the winner is...

The Matawan Huskies!

It was a back-and-forth battle all week with Mater Dei taking the lead many times. However, in the end, The Huskies came out on top. Here's a look at the numbers.

That's right, 16,753 votes were cast. Exactly 10,000 of them were for Matawan. An impressive 6,753 voted for Middletown's Mater Dei.

Our sister station, 92.7 WOBM conducted an Ocean County School Spirit Battle and Manchester Township took home the championship.
