On May 27 a motorist had a medical emergency that caused him to crash southbound express on the Garden State Parkway around 105 in Tinton Falls. This accident could have been fatal if it weren't for a fast-acting New Jersey State Trooper.

As you'll see in this video, after the crash the motorists car began to smoke. State Trooper Scott Behnke based out of Holmdel rushed to the car without hesitation to get the unconscious driver to safety.

Shoutout to the brave motorists who stopped to assist Trooper Behnke.

The driver was taken to Jersey Shore University Hospital. He was later released with no major injuries.
