My boys and their friends had the best 'boys night out' recently....and in case you haven't been to these places, here's how you and your family can cool off in this heat!

Every year we celebrate the end of the school year and the kickoff of summer at Breakwater Beach in Seaside. It's a small piece of paradise and a great way for friends and family to gather. From water slides to the splashground, to the lazy river and hot tubs, we have never had anything less than a perfect day and night there! (And my boys LOVE going right next door to the Go Carts, too!!!!)

Also high on the list of our favorites is Hurricane Harbor at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. Their lazy river is simply the best! Add to that the wave pool, and you don't even need the beach for a day of fun! My kids have been going there since they were babies playing in the splashground, and they just love it.

When my boys were younger, we would go to Dorbrook Park and Spraygound in Colts Neck at least once a week if not more. The park is simply adorable (and huge!) and the sprayground is just added fun on a hot day to let the little ones get a bit wet and cool off. We have so many fantastic memories there!

HulaFrog.com also has recommendations for Asbury Splash Park on the boardwalk and for Runaway Rapids in Keansburg with water slides and more. You can also get details about the attractions I mentioned above by clicking here.

Enjoy your summer and go get wet!
