Say it isn't so!

You can take my pumpkin lattes but please don't take my wine!

Apparently bad weather and droughts over Europe have caused the worst grape harvest in half a century.

Chardonnay grapes were among the most affected.

Upside? The grapes that do make it though will reportedly be of especially high quality this year.

This will mostly affect wines from France and Italy, California grapes seem to have faired better. Consumers might notice an eventual increase in wine prices though as wineries and vineyards struggle to make up for the lost harvest.

Maybe I'll stop by 4JG's Winery in Colts Neck...just to make sure everything's okay. What? They have wine tastings on weekends? How convenient!
