It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Jersey Shore, or is it? Are we going to see any snow this weekend?

Well, according to out meteorologist Dan Zarrow's latest update, the answer to that is yes...and no. What? Well let's break down the details and let you know what to expect this weekend.

For those of us in Monmouth & Ocean Counties who were hoping for some snowman building with the kids, Dan is sorry to report that you most likely will be disappointed. It looks like just a dusting for us Friday night into Saturday morning.

So what about that second chance of snow on Sunday? Dan says it looks now like there won't be any snow to talk of in our area, as a matter of fact the only thing New Jersey may see Sunday is a flake or two in North Jersey.

So those who are not snow fans are breathing a sigh of relief from Dan's latest update, and those who were hoping to get into the winter mood this weekend will apparently have to wait for another day.

Dan has left snow showers in the forecast for Saturday morning and Sunday, but there is little concern for more than that. Stay up to date with New Jersey weather all the time with Dan Zarrow's weather blog.
