The Annual NJ Seafood in Belmar was packed Saturday and Sunday! What were your favorite eats?

I automatically head to the Klein's tent for their steamed lobsters....just incredible! We  also had crab legs, peel-and-eat shrimp and clams, and cocunut shrimp!

They even had some fun non-fishy choices that we tried this year...like the mac and cheese stand and the french crepes filled with Nutella!

We come here every year as a family traditon, and this year they had to close down Ocean Ave. in front of the festival to spread out the seating and tables! If you didn't get there early, you probably had quite a time finding a parking space anywhere in town...and probably ran into extra traffic on Main Street since all the cars that normally cruise down Ocean Ave had to detour.

But it was all worth it...especially with the glorious weather. There may be other seafood festivals, but when you're ordering your lobster while overlooking the ocean, it just feels fresher!

Also big applause for the Manasquan High School Jazz Band led by Alan Abraham. What a show they put on while we were dining yesterday!
