I stopped short when I saw what this was. I had never seen one of these before!

Benj and I took the bike trail from Manasquan to Allaire State Park recently, and when we passed by this particular sight, we had to stop to see just what it was.

This gazebo is at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Ramshorn Drive in Wall Township/Allenwood. It's a teeny weeny 'park' along the bike path, across from the Allenwood General Store.

But the little structure in front of the gazebo is what got my attention. It's called "King Peach's Little Free Library" -- take a book/ return a book.

What a cool little idea for those taking a rest on a bench in a gazebo on a warm spring day to be able to pick out a book to read! (And there is also a teeny little parking lot if you want to stop by yourself.)

Have you seen anything like this before? I love the idea and plan to add some of my favorite books to the collection so that others may have some enjoyment along the way.
