What is Lady Gaga Wearing on the Born This Way Ball Tour?

Lady Gaga‘s old pal, photographer Terry Richardson, visited her in Asia on the opening dates of the Born This Way Ball world tour. He shared some photos of the Mother Monster and her elaborate, head-turning costuming. So, exactly what is Gaga wearing as she entertains her little monsters?

As expected, this tour features ensembles and attire that could be her most outrageous yet. Given Gaga’s status as a fashion game changer, she needed to be more extreme than usual and go as far out on that limb as she possible can. We love her for it, too.

From her architectural, geometric white dress complete with ram horn-like mask to the cage she wears on her head, along with a studded, dominatrix-like outfit to the shot of her relaxing during rehearsals in a battered but stylish Anthrax t-shirt, Gaga is kicking her fashion choices up several notches.

Gaga’s dom look is quite reminiscent of Madonna, we have to say. But it’s not reductive.

Thankfully, Richardson, her collaborator on her ‘Lady Gaga x Terry Richardson’ photo book, was on hand to capture the pop diva in all of her glory.
