The Jersey Shore is expecting some rough weather this weekend from a coastal storm that will affect us late Friday through early Saturday.

We checked with our meteorologist Dan Zarrow this morning and here's what you need to know about his latest update on the Nor'easter.

Timing. The storm will affect us tomorrow (Friday) night through Saturday morning, with the worst of it happening in the pre dawn hours Saturday morning.

Rain. There is the potential for 1 to 2+ inches of rain associated with this nor'easter.

Wind. Gusts could get up to 45 mph during the peek of the storm.

Surge. There is the possibility of a storm surge of up to 2 feet associated with this storm.

The good news for the weekend is that after Saturday morning's storm, things should calm down by midday, and we may actually see some sun on Sunday.
