After all the beautiful, non autumn weather we've been enjoying, there was bound to be a bad weather day, and that day is here at the Jersey Shore.

So here's what you need to know about today's weather according to our meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

Wind. There is a wind advisory in effect until 1:00pm with southeast winds could gust to over 40 mph at times.

Rain. The rain could certainly be heavy at times, and there is a chance of strong  thunderstorms.

Fall arrives? Temperatures will remain in the 60's through Saturday, but another cold front arrives Sunday and by Monday morning , Dan thinks we might have the first statewide frost, and maybe even freeze.

So it looks like local summer is winding down. Well, we all knew it couldn't last forever, right?
