We get called a lot of things in New Jersey. Sometimes it's actually our own name.

If you can filter through the other things we get called, (usually around the Driscoll Bridge) it's kind of fun to find out where our first names come from and what they mean.

I searched my name at zelo.com and Lou is from German origin and it means "famous in battle". Very impressive. Liz is of female origin and means "consecrated to God". My wife Diane's name is French and means "divine, from the goddess of the moon. In other words, she could have done better.

I was going to translate some of the other things we get called here in New Jersey, but none were printable. Check out your name here.
