What’s Left Of Mueller’s in Manasquan after the Fire

This is what's left after the fire that ruined a landmark.

Every time I drive down Rt. 71 in Manasquan/Sea Girt I see a lone bouquet of flowers in an empty parking lot in front of the now-closed Mueller's, which burned down a little over a week ago.

This place was such a well-known and well-loved shop for flowers, plants, gifts, and fresh produce in the little market they'd have outside. You could always count on stopping into this establishment if you needed to lift someone's day with 'a little something.'

I especially used to enjoy driving past it around the holidays, where it always looked so inviting to stop in and do some Christmas shopping.
