When Does The Winter Cold Hit The Jersey Shore?

After a couple of pretty warm days, you may wonder when, and even if this cold spell is going to happen.

The word from meteorologist Dan Zarrow is that it will happen, and when it does, temperatures  will be in the 40's during the day and at or below freezing in the overnight hours.

So when does it get here? Oddly enough, it will be during the afternoon tomorrow (Wednesday). The early part of the day temperatures will fool you, hanging around in the mid 60's, but then in the afternoon the drastic change happens.

Temperatures will drop sharply in the afternoon tomorrow, and our early dose of December-like temperatures will begin. Here's something we don't often say, but even though you won't need the jacket in the morning, bring it...you may need it on the way home.
