Who is Taking this Hound Dog Home?

Our Point Pet of the Week looks like a real live Eeyore!

The Monmouth County SPCA says Sadie is 6-years old, friendly ,and lovable. She is a Hound mix who came here from an overcrowded shelter in the south where she would have been euthanized.

Sadie loves long "pair-walks," her canine shelter buddies, and relaxing in the park with her volunteer friends. She hasn't met a human that doesn't adore her from the minute they meet her.

Sadie is sweet and gentle. After all, just look at those puppy dog eyes on her! If you are looking for a forever friend and a couch potato at night after a long day, Sadie will be your sidekick and snuggler.

If you are wondering what a 'pair walk' is, it's when two shelter canine friends walk together with two human friends  The canine friend that Sadie pair-walks with is Stella. Stella is one of the amazing dogs in the MCSPCA's foster program.

If you are interested, you can foster an adult dog or a puppy from the MCSPCA. By fostering, you save two lives: one that needs a much-needed break from the shelter, and another waiting their turn to come onto the adoption floor to find their forever home.
