Why You Should Get To Manasquan This Weekend

Manasquan has one of those quaint downtown Main Streets that are great for strolling on a spring day. Here's what's happening this weekend and next.

So grab a girlfriend or your significant other and head over to the Manasquan Spring Sidewalk Sale in downtown Manasquan this Friday and Saturday, May 13th and 14th, from 10 am - 5 pm.

There are awesome stores on Main Street, Broad Street, and South Street participating, and you can cover all the fantastic gift shops, stores, and restaurants easily on foot.

There is a lot of free parking in the lots directly behind Main Street off of South Street. Check out some of my favorite Squan stores: Squan Dry Goods, Green Planet (for iced coffee to power you up while you shop), Booktowne, Rare Cargo, White Bliss, The Peach Pit for lunch, Shop Pray Love, Men's Consignment Shop, White Bliss for awesome gifts, and plenty of other great restaurants and stores for everything from home decor to pampering your pet to shopping for your kids.

Some of these stores will have special deals going on during the sidewalk sale weekend, too!

And then NEXT weekend, on Sunday, May 22nd, it's the 7th Annual Taste of Manasquan. Sample small bites at participating restaurants and discover what makes Manasquan so delicious. General Admission, Noon - 4 pm, $25 per person. Advance tickets for $20 at Booktowne, Bouquets to Remember, and Manasquan Lighting. Free shuttle provided.
