Will “The Bourne Legacy” Top Batman This Weekend?
Not a lot of experts expect The Bourne Legacy to match the numbers that most of the other Bourne movies brought in, and neither do I, but I do think it will be enough to knock The Dark Knight Rises out of #1 at the box office this weekend. After a relatively accurate set of predictions last week (first time ever), I’m feeling pretty good about my picks this week. I’m going with The Bourne Legacy at #1 with $33 million. I have to admit that I’m not too excited about Will Ferrell’s new entry, The Campaign. Despite that, I still think it will bring in over $20 million, which is about where I think The Dark Knight Rises will be.
It’s a tough choice between those two, but I think The Candidate brings in $21 million, Dark Knight Rises will finish with $20 million. By the way, let’s not forget the other new movie this week. Hope Springs opened this week (Wednesday), but i don’t think it has a shot at the top three.
