Steve Levine, owner of legendary Windmill hot dog restaurants at the Shore and his wife Amy are accepting donations for the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico at all of their locations.

They're partnering with Convoy of Hope. Based in Missouri, this nonprofit organization has helped more than 85 million people throughout the world by sharing food, water, and emergency supplies.

Locally, they need about 50 pallets worth of items to fill up a truck that will be delivered to Convoy of Hope.

If you're interested in donating, Puerto Rico is in desperate need of:

  • cases of water
  • batteries
  • children's and adult diapers
  • new clothes
  • beef jerky and other non-perishable foods
  • toiletries

You can drop your donations off at any Windmill location in Brick, Freehold, Red Bank, Belmar, North Long Branch, Asbury Park, and West End Long Branch.

Items can also be dropped off at Deal Police Department.
