Windmill on Ocean Ave in Long Branch is Closing

If you've heard rumors that the Windmill on Ocean Avenue in Long Branch is closing, they're true.

The restaurant will be closing on September 25, but don't worry, we won't be going through cheese fry withdrawal for long.

According to a post on the official Windmill Facebook page, they lost their lease in Long Branch. The plan is to move to a brand new location right up the road in the Ursula Plaza.

Windmill's new neighbors will be Kearny Bank, Atillio's, Vingo Wine & Spirits, and Jersey Mike's. Oh, can anybody way "Windmill and Hoffman's for dessert?"

If you've got a craving for a dog, you can still hit up the Asbury Park, Belmar, Brick, Freehold, Red Bank, and West End locations.
