Winter: One Month Away

The winter of 2014-15 will officially arrive exactly one month from today, although we are in the midst of a winter temperature preview as we speak.

Winter will officially arrive on December 21st at 6:03 p.m. and of course, with that comes a list of countdowns have now begun. For instance, there are only 34 shopping days until Christmas.

There are also only 41 days left in 2014, and guys, Valentine's Day is only 86 days away! And summer lovers at the Jersey Shore, here's some news that will warm your heart. Memorial Day weekend starts exactly 6 months from tomorrow.

I'm not trying to rush things. Well, actually I may be rushing that Memorial Day weekend just a little, but it is my hope that facing these countdowns now may save you some stress in the upcoming weeks. after all, it's much better to have 34 days to shop than having 4.

One thing that bugs me about this time of year is how fast it flies by, so maybe we can all take a breath and find some time to soak in the magical feelings that come this time of year. There's still plenty of time to enjoy that.
