The first full week of spring will begin with a winter-style storm with rain and snow.

Forecasters expect a storm to develop off the coast spawned from a storm in the Ohio Valley and another in the Carolinas. They are uncertain just how much the storm will intensify as it moves up the coast.

Precipitation will begin falling on Sunday night and continue into Monday. North of Interstate 78 will get the most snow, which will be heavy and wet putting power lines and tree limbs at risk according to the National Weather Service's advisory on the storm. No estimates on snowfall have yet been issued although Accuweather The area between I-95 and I-78 will have a mix of rain and snow while the rest of the state will have heavy rain.

The moon is full on Monday which means tides will be higher than normal to begin with but no advisories have been issued.
