We all know Shore traffic can be annoying, but imagine you're a woman in labor trying to get to the hospital!

One local family has the story of a lifetime after it happened to them this weekend.

When Rose Abbud's water broke on Saturday night, she and her husband Trevor got in the car in Belford and set off on Rt. 36 toward the hospital. Unfortunately, they hit traffic in Sea Bright...and Rose knew the baby wasn't going to wait.

Trevor pulled over to the side of the road, when at that point, he told WABC-TV, "that's when she puts the seat in recline and she takes her pants off, and I see the baby's head. I'm like 'oh my God, no'."

He then started honking his car horn to get help while he called 911.

Luckily, two people nearby included a trauma nurse and an EMT, who helped deliver the baby, right there on the side of the road.

The 7 lb., 13 oz. baby, named Bella Rose, was taken to the hospital, along with her mom, where they are both doing well. The couple also has an 18-month old son...and one heck of a story.
