I know I might be a little bit early with this one, but indulge me for a few minutes. There are clear signs that we all know to look for to signal the beginning of summer season at the Jersey Shore.

We may not be seeing the signs just yet, but lets review them to be prepared for when they begin to arrive, and let's be honest, it's not all that far away. Here are our Jersey Shore's Summer's Here Signs, and deep down, you know them all.

The plates of blue and orange. Tourist season means tourists, and at the beginning of the season there's the annual rush to prepare the Shore homes for a summer of fun.

The disappearing parking spots. If you live in a a Shore town, you can kiss that empty space in front of your house goodbye until September.

The restaurant rush. After a fall, winter and spring of dining at your favorite restaurants, you now pull into the parking lot and there are no spots and with a bench full of people outside, you know there's going to be a wait.

The left lane slowdown. I don't know what goes on in other states, but tourists can't seem to grasp that the left lane is the fast lane.

The fashion meltdown. We will see outfits all summer long, especially at the beach, that literally boggle our minds. Forget that fact that somebody is wearing that, I can't get over the fact that somebody bought that!

The loss of the letter "r". Theh will be lots of people hoppin in their cah, driving to the shaw to spend the summa hittin the beaches and the bahs in Belmah.

Growling at the fire hydrant. We've all done it. We are looking for a parking spot near the beach and from a block away, we see a spot. We race to it only to find there's a fire hydrant there. Growl.

You want to know the truth. I kind of love every one of these. I know it from both sides. As a kid growing up in New York, I know how amazing our summer trips to the Shore were. And as an adult, I know how lucky I am to call the Jersey Shore home, so you have to love it.

And yes I know we're about a season away from all this, but if it can't be summer yet, at least we can dream about it a little. Leave it to us to love summer so much that we look forward to bad bathing suits, traffic and all that summer stuff. Well, maybe not the bad bathing suits.
