This 1-year-old was given up by someone who said they could no longer have pets in their residence. Seems this happens an awful lot. So read on to meet our Point Pet of the Week.

Haze is a Terrier mix whose previous owners rave about how good he was in his crate when they were not home, and he is house trained, too!

This precious dog loves to meet new people and gets very excited every time he gets to do so! Once Haze considers you a friend he will give you plenty of kisses to show his affection. He is young and enjoys a good play session, especially some 'fetch' or 'tug'.

Haze has a serious side, too, and knows his basic commands like 'sit', 'stay', 'come', and 'paw'. He also likes to catch treats in the air, and is such a versatile boy.

You can meet Haze at the Eatontown location of the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, 7 days a week from Noon to 5 pm.

AND, the MCSPCA, in association with MJs Bar & Grill, is hosting a special adoption special through the month of January. For any dog that has been at the shelter for over 2 months, or any cat with FIV+, adopters will receive $25 off of the regular adoption price plus a $25 MJs Gift Card!
