The Jersey Shore is getting excited for one of the biggest music festivals to hit our area, The Gentleman of the Road Stopover. Here's everything you need to know about the two-day festival Friday June 5th and Saturday June 6th.

  • ADDRESS

    The official address of the Stopover is 800 Ocean Terrace, Seaside Heights, NJ 08751

  • FESTIVAL RULES

    The following items are not permitted on the Festival Grounds: Coolers, Chairs/Lawn Chairs, Umbrellas, Outside Food or Beverage, Weapons, Laser Pointers, Glow Sticks, Professional Cameras, Video or Audio Recording Equipment, Pets, Incendiary Devices, Camelbacks.

    One bottle of factory sealed bottled water or one empty drinking bottle will be permitted per guest.

    Backpacks will be searched.

  • CAMPING

    Campgrounds open Thursday, June 4th at 12pm.
    Campgrounds close Sunday, June 7th at 2pm.

    Camping is located on the beach in Seaside Heights between Hiering and Sherman Avenues and also between Hamilton and Dupont Avenues.

    Depending upon your arrival time to Seaside Heights, Campers will be directed to either the box office located at Dupont Ave. and Ocean Terrace, or the box office located at Hiering Ave. and Ocean Terrace.

    Parking will be reserved for campers on a first come, first serve basis along specific streets and designated areas in the town. A parking pass along with more information regarding parking will be provided when your tickets are shipped by FrontGate tickets.

    Camping is guaranteed for everyone who purchased or received a separate camping ticket.

    Camping spot assignments are on a first come, first serve basis.

    Camping for this stopover is primitive tent camping. No Car or RV’s will be allowed in the campground.

    Camping spots of the beach will be 12’ x 12’ in size.

    Please bag your garbage and recycling and leave next to your campsite for collection.

    Allowed: Food, water, and alcoholic beverages (plastic or aluminum containers only) for personal consumption can be brought into the campground area.

    Not Allowed: No open flames of any kind - campfires, ground fires, fires contained in fire pit , grills, etc. No pets/animals of any kind unless they are service animals. No Fireworks or Incendiary Devices of any kind. No loud music or excessive noise after 12:00 midnight. No glass containers in camping area – All glass containers will be confiscated. No drinks allowed inside porta-toilets or shower trailers. No weapons allowed in camping area; this includes permitted guns, knives, or weapons of any kind. All people will be searched. No vending inside campground; this includes any food, beverages or merchandise items. No tent camping in parking areas will be permitted. No illegal substances. No underage alcohol consumption will be tolerated.

    CAMPERS, PLEASE NOTE...
    When lifeguards are not present, swimming is at your own risk.

    WHAT TO EXPECT
    Camping Showers – Showers will be provided at the cost of $10 per use.
    Water Stations – Will be provided in the campground.
    Charging Stations – Will be provided free of charge in the campground.
    Portable Restrooms – Will be available in the campground.
    ATM – Will be available in the campgrounds.
    General Store – A general store will be available.
    A lot of Fun - Expect a great time!

    NEED SOME HELP?
    There will be 24 hour security in the campground.

  • PARKING

    Parking is included with your ticket. Free festival parking will be available at Intermediate High School North (Google Maps) in Toms River.

    We will provide complimentary shuttles from the GOTR parking lots to the festival grounds in Seaside Heights. If you are arriving early on Thursday (which you should do!!!), general street and public parking is available around Seaside Heights.

    Parking and Shuttle Operation hours are below:

    Friday, June 5: Parking and shuttles commence at 3:00pm at Intermediate High School North located in Toms River shuttling to Seaside Heights - continuous shuttle until 3:00am.

    Saturday, June 6: Parking and shuttles commence at 11:00am at Intermediate High School North shuttling to Seaside Heights - continuous shuttle until 3:00am.

    Directions to Toms River Intermediate High School North ("The Purple Lot")
    Garden State Parkway:
    - Northbound take exit 82 for 37 east
    - Southbound take exit 82A for 37 east

    "The Purple Lot"
    Keep on Old Freehold Rd past "The Red Lot"
    At the intersection of Old Freehold Rd and Intermediate N Way turn LEFT
    Stay on Intermediate N Way to "The Purple Lot" on your RIGHT

    Pre-Festival Activities begin Thursday, June 4th at 5:00PM
    Gates open Friday, June 5th at 4:30PM
    Gates open Saturday June 6th at 1:00PM
