Your Kid Can Dance With Beyonce Back Up Dancers At The JS

How would you like to learn dance from Beyoncé's back-up dancers?

Well lucky you because on January 13th, 2019, Beyonce's back-up dancers Brittany Parks and Hannah Douglass are coming to the Jersey Shore for the "Your Move" workshop at Manchester Township Highschool.

Your kids will be learning from the best of the best because both Brittany and Hannah have performed with Beyoncé in concerts, videos and even the Super Bowl!

The price is $100 to sign up and you can register by clicking AvenueToBroadwayDance.com and clicking the "Your Move Intensive" tab.

There are two different workshops that are being offered depending on your child's skill set and age but both will start at 9:30 AM and will include six classes covering various dance genres with a showcase finale and even will include a Beyoncé hour. (I don't know what that is but I am in)

Intermediate Level

Ages: 8 to 13

Tap with Brittany: 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM
Ballet with Hannah: 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM
Contemporary with Brittany: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Lunch: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Jazz with Brittany: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Hip Hop with Hannah: 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM
BEYONCE HOUR: 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM
Prepare for Showcase: 5:15 PM to 5:30 PM
Showcase: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Advanced Level

Ages: 14 & Up

Ballet with Hannah: 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM
Tap with Brittany: 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM
Contemporary with Hannah: 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM
Lunch: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
Jazz with Hannah: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
Hip Hop with Brittany: 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM
BEYONCE HOUR: 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM
Prepare for Showcase: 5:15 PM to 5:30 PM
Showcase: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM

“It’s important for young dancers to be open to all new experiences and all these new styles, to embrace their inner you-ness because it’s so little to do with the steps,” said Hannah Douglass. “They’re going to have a lot steps thrown at them but it’s more so a feeling that we hope everybody can find in each of their very different styles that we’ll be teaching.”
