The annual Allaire Village Easter Event is on the way, and it's definitely something the kids will enjoy!

On Saturday, April 19th from 12 to 4 p.m., kids under 12 can search for more than 10,000 prize-filled eggs in the historic Allaire Village. Some of the eggs will be filled with tickets for bigger prizes, and the eggs are first come, first served, so get your baskets ready and come early!

The kids can also enter a homemade bonnet contest and parade, starting at 2 p.m. in front of the General Store. Winners will score extra prizes!

There will be games, arts and crafts, face painting, and other demonstrations that will have you feeling like you are back in the early 19th century., definitely an interesting way to learn a little history!

And of course for the youngest ones, the Easter Bunny will be making a special visit!

Allaire Village is located in Allaire State Park (4263 Atlantic Avenue) in Farmingdale.
