Amazing Bare-Handed Shark Rescue on LBI

One of my colleagues from Poughkeepsie, NY thought he was going to enjoy a relaxing day on the sand in Beach Haven. What he ended up witnessing was incredible.

Boris started hearing lifeguards alerting swimmers to get out of the water as a sand shark was spotted very close to the shore.

While a lifeguard was keeping tabs on the area, Boris and the onlookers noticed that the shark seemed to be in distress.

What happened from there is something straight out of a Man vs. Wild special. A bystander caught the shark bare-handed!
