I grew up in Hightstown NJ. Just about a 15-mile drive to Great Adventure and a 40-minute drive to the beaches of the Jersey Shore, two places I spent most of my childhood summers. Long days on the beach were spent in Seaside Heights consisting of body surfing in waves what felt like 100 feet high, a packed lunch and the anticipation of dinner on the boardwalk. To this day, there is nothing like a Midway hot grilled sausage link, split in half and cradled by a soft long roll, layered with peppers and onions.

You’ll Be Dismayed To Learn What’s Coming Back To NJ
After the frequent hand washing, social distancing, staying at home and the mask mandate ramping up last summer to prevent the spread of Covid19, I began to think about how these practices would help prevent other ailments. Typically, each fall we prepare for the common cold and the flu. Most Americans make the decision, each year to get or not get the annual flu shot. Sometimes you get it, other times you don’t depend on whether you hear a story that someone got the flu from the shot itself.
