Dave Portnoy Reviews Three Brothers Pizza in Seaside Heights, NJ

We are following the travels of Dave Portnoy from Barstool Sports as he reviews pizza at the Jersey Shore for his wildly popular One Bite Facebook video series. Dave's next stop was right down the boardwalk in Seaside Heights.

Portnoy landed in Seaside Heights to start because of all of the good things he heard about Maruca's Tomato Pies. While he wasn't in love with Seaside Heights, saying he'd probably never come back, he did like Maruca's. He put it in the "boardwalk pizza" category and gave it a 7.3.

After a quick stroll down the boardwalk, he and his crew discovered Three Brothers from Italy. Some say that Maruca's and Three Brothers are competitors, but there really is no competition in my opinion. Maruca's wins hands down.

Dave walked out with a giant Three Brothers slice. By this time he had gotten an audience. Seconds after taking a bite, Portnoy was not impressed. He said

this is your ****faced, 3 am, jamming it down your face pizza.

He gave Three Brothers a 4.8 and said that if you want real pizza to go to Maruca's, he suggested Three Brothers if you "don't care about taste."

In a bit of a twist, Dave reviewed Three Brothers fried Oreos. He admitted that he had never tried a fried Oreo and seemed intrigued. After one bite of the fried Oreo Portnoy questioned whether there was even an Oreo inside because it just tasted like fried dough. Even after adding a little powdered sugar, he still just tasted fried dough. To his point though, you can't really go wrong with fried dough. He gave the fried Oreo an 8.2.
