We wake up in Monmouth and Ocean Counties to the results of yet another winter blast. So just how bad did this storm hit us?

Early indications are that Manalapan got the honors of top snow totals, checking in at 15.8 inches. Englishtown got 15.1 and Colts Neck easily topped the one foot mark with 13.1 inches. Brick reported 10 inches of snow.

The first check of some local roadways shows that Route 9 in Freehold is basically clear, but sections of the Garden State Parkway have been reported to be dealing with some sloppy conditions due to windswept snow being blown right back onto the roadways.

There are many school closings reported. You can always get the latest by visiting Point Stormwatch.

In addition to slick roads, one of the big issues this morning is the wind chill. There is a wind chill advisory in effect until 11:00 a.m, with wind chills reported well below zero this morning. And the forecast doesn't offer much relief from the cold.
