Snoop Dogg has over 500 handbags.

The 52-year-old rapper insisted he doesn't carry a "man purse" but he's a big fan of an accessory to tote his belongings around in and has "always" collected them.

Speaking on Vogue's "In the Bag" video series, he said: "I love bags, backpacks, handbags, tote bags. I'm not gonna call it a man purse 'cause it ain't. I think I got less than a thousand, more than five hundred."

And the "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper has been adding to his collection while in Paris for the Olympics, where he's working as a special correspondent for NBC.

He admitted: "I always collect bags too. I went to the Olympic training facility yesterday and I left with a couple of bags."

Snoop always tries to match his bag with what he's wearing.

He said: "It's all about the outfit. The bag and the outfit has to coordinate. Everything has to go together. One thing about me is everything has to be uniform. It has to feel like it's together. If you notice this bag and this suit, they go together."

In the video, Snoop showed off the contents of his personalized Olympics tote bag, revealing his must haves include Biscoff cookies, an iPad, an Xbox controller, and a bottle of wine.

Brandishing his own 19 Crimes Snoop Dogg Cali red wine, he said: "You never know when I'm going to want a glass of wine to recline, to relax. Paris is a town that really appreciates wine so why not have my own wine that will make everything fine?"

The new The Voice coach admitted his Xbox controller goes everywhere with him.

He said: "This is my Xbox controller, while I'm on the road I've been playing a whole lot. This, I never leave home without it. This is more important than breathing, this is more important than water. This is life!"
