Senior C.J. Sanford scored the game-winning goal in the second half off a feed from classmate Mike Colantino and the Lions exacted revenge over the Patriots for an early-season overtime loss and advanced to the SCT quarterfinals Monday against No. 12 Long Branch.

(8) Colts Neck 1, (24) Toms River East 0

Senior Jairo Chira scored the game-winner in the 49th minute and the Cougars held off the Raiders to advance to the SCT quarterfinals Monday at top-seeded CBA.

Sophomore Ben Ilyin won a loose ball and crossed it over the Chira on the attack. Colts Neck's senior forward took two touches and buried his shot for the first and only goal of the match.

(1) CBA 3, (16) Southern 2 (OT)

Junior Dylan Millevoi scored two goals, including the penalty kick in the third minute of overtime that sent the Colts past the Rams and into the SCT quarterfinals Monday against No. 8 Colts Neck.

Southern stunned CBA with the equalizer in the 74th minute, with sophomore Kaan Zenger finishing out of a scrum on front of the goal to level the score, 2-2.

Millevoi also scored a go-ahead goal in the 62nd off a dish from senior Jack D'Eletto, which gave CBA a 2-1 lead. D'Eletto also assisted CBA's first goal, which was a finish by senior Will Thygeson to tie the game, 1-1, in the 17th.

Southern jumped on top when senior Aidan Antonio scored in the fourth minute off a feed from sophomore Brody Reynolds.

(2) Howell 0, (15) Manasquan 0 (Howell advances on penalties, 4-2)

Senior goalkeeper Charlie Scanlon turned back two attempts during the shootout and sophomore Nick Turturro converted the clinching penalty kick as the Rebels survived 100 minutes and a round of penalties against the Warriors to advance to Monday's SCT quarterfinals against No. 7 Rumson-Fair Haven.

(6) Marlboro 2, (22) Toms River South 1 (OT)

Junior Cade Jacobs scored his second golden goal of the season and this one delivered the Mustangs a win over the Indians, as well as a trip to the SCT quarterfinals Monday against No. 3 Holmdel.

Sophomore Jake Dunphy slid a pass through to Jacobs, who buried a shot inside the near post for the winner. Jacobs's first golden goal was on opening day and dealt No. 1 seed CBA its only loss of the season.

Marlboro pulled even on a second-half penalty kick by sophomore Jake Langella, which came after junior Yasine Isa drew the penalty in the box.

Toms River South jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the first half on a goal by junior Kenny Caruso.

(7) Rumson-Fair Haven 3, (10) Middletown South 0

Junior Padraig Flynn scored out of a scrum in the first half and assisted a goal by senior Jonathaun Lauria in the second to help lead the Bulldogs over the Eagles and into the SCT quarterfinals Monday at No. 2 Howell.

Senior Harrison Rosen assisted the first goal of the game and senior Antonio Santos capped the scoring by drilling a direct kick.

(3) Holmdel 1, (14) Wall 0

Junior Frankie Brusco headed home a service from sophomore Tyler Gravier in the 56th minute and the Hornets upended the Crimson Knights for the second time this season, punching their ticket to Monday's SCT quarterfinal against No. 6 Marlboro.

(12) Long Branch 2, (5) Point Boro 1

Junior Nick Davhi Borges scored the equalizer in the 73rd and senior Anthony Vasquez scored the game-winner in the 78th to spark the Green Wave to a come-from-behind win over the Panthers.

Vasquez's game-winner came off an assist from junior Chris Garcia Lopez.

Senior Jared Elliot staked Point Boro to a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 28th minute off a pass from junior Ben Fritz.

Long Branch will play No. 13 Middletown North in Monday's SCT quarterfinal round.

 

Shore Conference Coaches’ Cup

Semifinals

Shore 3, St. John Vianney 1

Freshman Cooper Attaway scored a goal and assisted one by classmate Santino Scarponi as the Blue Devils topped the Lancers to reach the championship game of the Shore Coaches' Cup.

Senior Nick DiNapoli added an assist for Shore and the third Blue Devils goal came on an own goal.

Sophomore Anthony Marano scored the St. John Vianney goal in the second half off a pass from senior Danny Herndon.

Quarterfinals

Red Bank 3, Monmouth 1

Junior Danny Dougan opened the scoring and classmates Brady Walsh and Carlos Guerra exchanged goals and assists to lead the Bucs to a win over the Falcons.

Walsh scored the second Red Bank goal off a pass from Guerra, then set up Guerra to scored the Bucs' third goal.

Class B South

Jackson Liberty 2, Manchester 0

Senior Connor Yurgel scored a goal and the Lions shut out the Hawks to clinch a share of the Class B South championship along with Point Boro -- the first ever division title in boys soccer for Jackson Liberty.

 

Non-Division

Brick Memorial 2, Donovan Catholic 0

Seniors Pat Schlagenhaft and Drew Forfar each scored in the second half and the Mustangs pulled out a win over the Griffins to snap a five-game winless streak.

Evan Buzzanco scored the equalizer in the 55th minute and Dylan Gonzalez converted the game-winner in the 68th as the Admirals rallied to beat the Red Raiders for their first win of the season.

Edwin Prudente gave Keyport the lead with a goal in the 30th minute.

Red Bank Catholic 2, Ranney 1

Christian Condon and Bobby Milke each scored a goal and the Caseys beat the Panthers for their second straight win.
