Mason Adam, So., RB/DB, Wall

Adam ran for 97 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries and returned an interception for a touchdown in Wall's 35-14 win over Pinelands in the South Group 3 Regional Invitational Tournament final.

Najee Calhoun, Fr., RB, Donovan Catholic

The Griffins were eliminated from the Non-Public A playoffs via a 41-7 loss to No. 2 Bergen Catholic but Calhoun had a fantastic game with 189 yards rushing on 18 carries, including an 83-yard touchdown run.

Tareq Council, Jr., DB, Toms River North

Council delivered a game-changing play in the South Jersey Group 5 final when he intercepted a pass and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown with 14 seconds left in the first half to give Toms River North a 27-7 lead on its way to a 48-14 title-game victory over Kingsway.

Gunnar Eckerstrom, Jr., RB, Red Bank

Ecketstrom ran for 105 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries as the Bucs won a rematch with Brick Memorial, 33-6, to win the South Group 4 Regional Invitational Tournament.

Kieran Falzon, Sr., RB, Raritan

The Rockets lost a heartbreaker to Rumson-Fair Haven, 34-27 in double overtime in the South Jersey Group 2 final, but Falzon had a massive game with 325 yards rushing and three touchdowns to lead the way.

Colin Gallagher, Jr., LB/RB, Middletown South

The Eagles fell to Mainland, 34-24, in the Central Jersey Group 4 final where Gallagher had a strong game with 117 yards rushing and a touchdown on eight carries, three receptions for 37 yards, and 11 tackles on defense.

Anthony Gartz, Sr., RB, Wall

Gartz ran for a career-high 232 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries to help power the Crimson Knights to a 35-14 win over Pinelands in the South Group 3 Regional Invitational Tournament final.

Jhamier Howard, Sr., RB, Manasquan

Howard ran for 176 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 17 yards and a touchdown in Manasquan's 28-21 loss to Long Branch in a consolation game.

Owen O'Toole, So., QB, Rumson-Fair Haven

O'Toole displayed the poise and skill of a veteran in leading the Bulldogs' tremendous rally from 17 points down to beat Raritan, 34-27 in double overtime, to win the South Jersey Group 2 sectional title. O'Toole completed 22 of 39 passes for 281 yards and three touchdowns - all three of which came in the fourth quarter and overtime. His 60-yard touchdown pass to senior Cole Cashion pulled Rumson to within three points and a his19-yard scoring pass to senior Scott Venancio in double overtime held up as the winning points.

Sabino Portella, Sr., RB, Red Bank Catholic

Portella ran for 72 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries as the Caseys opened up their Non-Public B title defense with a 62-7 thrashing of Gloucester Catholic.

Earnest Reevey, Jr., QB, Long Branch

Reevey completed 17 of 25 passes for 275 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 33 yards in Long Branch's 28-21 win over Manasquan in a consolation game. His 15-yard touchdown pass to Sekou Kamau in the fourth quarter put the Green Wave on top for good.

Toms River North's running game

The Mariners rode a punishing ground game to a 48-14 victory over Kingsway in the South Jersey Group 5 sectional final to improve to 12-0 and secure the program's seventh sectional title. North ran for a whopping 511 yards on an average of 9.5 yards per carry. Junior quarterback Micah Ford ran for 264 yards and three touchdowns and junior running back Josh Moore ran for 226 yards and two touchdowns behind a dominant offensive line of Jaelyne Matthews, Hathem Hooranyi, Charlie Wood, Josh Kaye, Nick Baiocco, and Justin Kaye.

Scott Venancio, Sr., WR, Rumson-Fair Haven

Venancio caught seven passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns, including the go-ahead 19-yard touchdown pass in double overtime, as the Bulldogs rallied from a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit to stun Raritan, 34-27 in double overtime, and win the South Jersey Group 2 championship.
