Scary good food in New Jersey's "scariest" diner! Wow, this sounds intriguing, doesn't it? I stumbled across this story from Only In Your State and wanted to share it with you at home. Diners are always a great topic and delicious food. Personally, I always enjoy a good "diner" meal. I love the food and the atmosphere of a good Jersey diner. Along with a good cup of "diner" coffee.

For me, there are no better diners than those here in the Garden State. Each diner has its own atmosphere and vibe. The menu may seem similar, but it's always good Jersey entries. That's why when you travel outside New Jersey you will see diners, but the menu and food are not the same.

This diner, the Blairstown Diner, has gotten the reputation of being the "scariest" diner in Jersey! What does that even mean? Well according to Only In Your State, this diner was part of the Iconic movie Friday, the 13th. A horror classic seen by millions over the years and this diner was part of it, did Jason grab a plate of disco fries? lol "The Blairstown Diner would play host to a scene from the soon-to-be-classic horror movie Friday the 13th – the franchise that would give us the infamous hockey-mask-clad Jason Voorhees. Immortalized on screen, the Blairstown Diner is now a destination for countless horror fans, and it’s lived up to its reputation. When you come to this classic rural North Jersey diner, you’re not just getting good food – you’re stepping into a piece of horror movie history."

The Blairstown Diner originally opened seventy-four years ago in 1949. It was used in the horror classic Friday the 13th in 1979. You can still sit in the same seats that were in the horror movie, but don't be scared because the food will make you happy :)

"You can even buy your own Friday the 13th souvenir t-shirt at the front, and it's easy to feel the movie's presence here."

I want this Tee-Shirt so I'm going for a burger and see horror movie history for myself. Great day trip idea here in New Jersey.
