A Local Favorite in South Jersey Under New Ownership
At a time when local retailers seem to be disappearing every day, this story is bittersweet.
On the one hand, the longtime owners of a well-liked business have announced they are done.
On the other hand, rather than close the business, they have sold it, and their loyal customers are grateful for that.
Bellino's Market is under new ownership.
Chris Bellino and his wife Suzanne first opened the market in a strip Mall off New York Road in August 2017.
Chris, an Executive Chef at Smithville Inn brought the same high quality from Smithville to his new venture.
The business was a hit with locals.
Bellino's offers a nice selection of prepared foods that you can pick up and bring home.
Their loyal customers love meals like,
🔺 Grilled Salmon
🔺 Short Rib Ravioli
🔺Eggplant Rollatini
🔺Chicken Francese
🔺 London Broil
And so many other choices.
Customers report that not only are the offerings tasty, but they are also priced fairly.
Bellino's also has a nice selection of subs and paninis.
A message was left for their legions of customers,
We would like to take a moment to thank the community, our loyal customers, close friends, family and most importantly our employees who have supported us for the last seven years. Without all of them we could not have succeeded. We built a business from scratch, survived a pandemic, learned from our mistakes, stayed married and learned to adapt in an ever changing environment. We were the little tug boat that kept chugging along but now the time has come to pass the torch onto the new proprietors. Please stop in and show these three gentlemen who are very eager to continue serving the community the same support that you have shown us!
Customers responded on social with words of encouragement and thanks.
Sandy A. "So sad to see them go"
Paul B. "This is sad to hear but wishing y'all nothing but the best to everyone."
New owners, partners Shaheen, Shahed, and Deenar are like proud new papas in their new establishment.
They say they look forward to maintaining the same high standards locals have come to expect.
One thing is certain, people are glad the establishment will remain open.
