In a sure sign that the holiday season is fast approaching, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced its 2024 tour schedule.

Fans of the band in New Jersey will have four chances to catch the band, with 2 shows scheduled for The Rock, and another two at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The band announced they'll play a 3 pm matinee and a 7:30 pm performance at The Rock on December 20.

They'll make their way to Philly on December 22 for 3 pm and 7:30 pm performances as well.

Each year, Trans-Siberian Orchestra makes tweaks to their show and offers fans surprises.

This year will be no different, as the band announced they'll be doing an all-new version of their 20-year-old double album, Lost Christmas Eve.

For those who haven't seen this band, the first thing you need to know is that they are not an orchestra.

The best way to describe the band is the fusion of, Queen, YES, KISS, Beethoven.

For those who aren't fans of Christmas music, this is different.  I promise.

TSO is two touring bands.  There's an East Coast band and a West Coast band.

The East Coast band is led by the powerful personality of New Jersey native Chris Caffrey.  From the moment he takes the stage, you know the party has begun.

Chris got his first break, at the age of 13, as a member of a band called "Blitzkrieg" that played a gig at a bar in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  He's been a successful performer ever since.

Chris is joined on stage by Joel Hoekstra, whose resume includes bands like Whitesnake, Night Ranger, and more.

The combination of Chris and Joel is electric, but only one part of the show.  Add the wild Roddy Chong on strings, Jeff Plate on drums, and Mee Eun Kim on keyboards and that's just the foundation of the band.

The band has many outstanding vocalists including Russell Allen, Chloe Lowery, and too many more to list.

You are transported through the story by the incomparable Storyteller, Bryan Hicks.

What's a rock show with theatrics?

There is no other band touring that has better pyrotechnics and staging than TSO.

They break out all the cliche rock and roll tricks from pyro, to lighting, to levitating guitarists...heck, even snow falls on the audience.

This is a rare show where you'll hard rockers in their leather biker jackets sitting next to a 7-year-old, who came to the show with his grandma.  It's a show all enjoy.
