Stafford Township Police are investigating two incidents of vehicles killing and injuring sea gulls in a local parking lot, with the drivers targeting flocks of the birds intentionally.

The police are asking for help finding the people responsible.

Police Say Vehicles Run Over Gulls in Costco Parking Lot

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Stafford Township Police say they have received reports of two separate cases where vehicles mowed down flocks of sea gulls in the Costco parking lot on Stafford Park Boulevard.

In both cases, witnesses reported the suspects purposely drove through a flock, striking and killing several birds.

The police are asking for help from the public to identify the people responsible for this animal cruelty.

The comments on the Stafford Twp Police Facebook post about the attacks on the gulls in a parking lot brought reactions from people who were disgusted with the animal cruelty and those who thought it was a waste of time to investigate the killing of sea gulls.

Were spending resources on this? I had a credit card stolen

and they deemed it to expensive to pursue. Cant make this stuff up. SMH
