Mainland Regional rising senior Finn Haines will be continuing his baseball career at Army.

Haines made the announcement in a social media post on Monday.

Army's baseball team is a Division I program and member of the Patriot League and have made the NCAA Tournament six of the last seven years.

Overall the program has had 20 players selected in the MLB draft.

The Mustangs lefty had a tremendous junior season, going 5-2 and posting a 2.26 ERA with 52 strikeouts in 40.1 innings pitched.

The Northfield native missed his sophomore season after a promising freshman year where he struck out 36 batters in 21 innings, poating an ERA of 2.00.

Overall in 61.1 innings pitched he has totaled 88 strikeouts and an ERA of 2.17 for Mainland.

He'll return to the top of the Mustangs rotation in 2024 and then head to West Point.
