Millville High School alum LeQuint Allen scored the winning touchdown on Friday night in Syracuse's 44-41 win over UNLV.

Allen would not be denied on the game winning run, dragging a UNLV tackler into the end zone for the winning score.

In the overtime win, Allen ran 19 times for 71 yards, scoring two touchdowns including the game winner.

Allen has had a solid season for the Orange, rushing 73 times for 358 yards and three touchdowns.

The junior has 1,696 yards and 13 scores, adding 84 catches and 553 yards receiving, with five touchdowns during his three seasons at Syracuse.

The former Thunderbolt was the New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year when he ran for 1,903 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also caught 17 passes for 277 yards and three touchdowns.
