Wildwood Crest, NJ, Bakery item listed among 13 best desserts at the Jersey Shore

There are a ton of great places all over South Jersey to eat, but what about to grab dessert?

One Wildwood Crest spot was listed among NJ.com's 13 best desserts at the Jersey Shore for the summer of 2024.

They looked for places serving any type of sweets, like ice cream, doughnuts, cookies and more.

The one item that made the list? The Sticky buns from Britton’s Gourmet Bakery located at  5600 Pacific Ave in Wildwood Crest. 

All the pastries at Britton’s Gourmet Bakery are to die for. They have fritters, croissants, doughnuts, danishes and cinnamon rolls, but go for their sticky buns. They sell them plain or with raisins and walnuts. I go for the latter, because the sticky buns are amazingly caramelized, sweet and nutty from the walnuts. How good are they? I also get a box of six buns whenever I head home from Wildwood.

It was the only dessert in Atlantic, Cape May or Cumberland county to appear on the list. They also are known for their fresh baked goods made in Wildwood Crest which include, donuts, pastries, muffins, bagels, cakes, cinnamon buns, and their world famous apple fritters
