James Gandolfini Wake Not Open To Public
James Gandolfini's wake today in Park Ridge is not open to the public and fans are being urged not to show up.
The Robert Spearing Funeral Home on Kinderkamack Road is hosting the private wake from 3p.m. to 9 p.m. and police expect heavier than normal traffic in the area according to the Bergen Record. Nearby Berthoud Street will be closed as well.
Fans can attend the funeral at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in New York tomorrow at 10 a.m.
Broadway will honor Gandolfini for his Tony-nominated role in God of Carnage tonight by dimming the lights for 1 minute tonight before curtain time. "James Gandolfini was a consummate actor who brought individuality to each role and inspired a true connection with the audience," Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of the Broadway League, told the Hollywood Reporter.
