When you casually scroll through social media, you never know what you will see. Some things are true and some things are totally false. At first I laughed and thought it was a funny article from a spoof website but it's 100% real! Bubble concerts are actually a thing and they might become the new wave of how we experience concerts! This week in Oklahoma City, the alternative rock band The Flaming Lips performed a concert for a live audience that was entirely protected in inflatable space bubbles. Each person had their own bubble and reports say the show was a test run for future concerts. Fans at the bubble concert were having fun and one concert attendee wrote on social media, "I wouldn't mind spending every show in my own little bubble!". The full story can be found by clicking this link.

A space bubble concert sounds unique but since I saw this story I have been pondering whether or not I would actually go to one. I would probably give it a shot just because I've never done something like this before. Get a couple friends together and enjoy live music! However, I do have a few concerns, how hot does it get in those bubbles? What if there is an emergency, how will everyone safely leave the building?  What if I need to use the bathroom?!?! This was obviously a test run and something we maybe see more of in the future. Hopefully we can just eliminate COVID-19 sooner rather than later so we can go to concerts like normal people!!!
