UPDATE: Ocean Police have announced that on Monday night at 10:00 pm, Tanner Koch turned himself at the police station.

For the second time in less than a week, Ocean Township Police are investigating a shooting incident.

Officers responded to Elberon Boulevard and Roosevelt Avenue on Sunday evening around 5:00 pm after reports came in of shots being fired.

Police say a man armed with a gun had been firing shots at another man, who came away uninjured.

26-year old Tanner Koch took off before police got there and is still at large.

Police believe Koch fled the state and they're working with outside agencies to try and apprehend him.

He has been charged with attempted murder and weapons offenses.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Detectives have also assisted in the investigation.
