5th Annual Senior Appreciation Day Comes To Freehold Borough
The Freehold Borough Human Relations Committee is hosting its 5th Annual Senior Appreciation Day, an event committed to acknowledging Seniors for their contributions to the community.
There is fun for the entire family including classic cars by the Freehold Kruisers, music, dancing, plenty of food, vintage candy, vendors, antique appraisals, community service providers and more. Our very own DJ Tommy Lynch will be providing the music as the kids participate in the Kid’s Poster Contest. There will be cash prizes throughout the event and your chance at the Grand Prize Giveaway, a collection of gift cards from Federici’s, Court Jester, Sweet Lew’s, Metropolitan Café, American Hotel, Jemm Optical and The Hungry Puppy. Maybe you have an antique item in your home that has been passed down from generations or perhaps an interesting artifact you found at the local flea market. You can get it appraised by Past and Present Antiques who will be on site. Ever watch the Antique Roadshow? Cha-ching!
Celebrate Senior Appreciation Day Sunday, September 17th at the Hall of Records Parking Lot on Main Street in Freehold Borough. CLICK HERE for details. Rain date will be the following Sunday, September 24th.
