Brick Township

One of the things I look forward to each summer is going to Winward Beach in Brick Township for the annual Summerfest in Brick. Mayor Ducey and his Staff do a fantastic job and thousands come out each summer for great music, food and fireworks in Brick Township.

Too often we see this site as we travel around the Jersey Shore, abandoned gas stations that sit dark and with no future plans in sight.

Did You know that the state with the most Wawa locations is New Jersey? That's right the Garden State has 27% of the nation's Wawa locations right here!

I think it's time I bring this up. I have been pushing it off and playing it cool but enough is enough! All I want is for the Corrado's Market in Brick Township to open! Hey, Corrado... we Jersey Shore Italians are chomping at the bit over here, WE NEED YA!

I Want to throw this idea out there...if possible would Brick Township be a great location for a Cracker Barrel here in Ocean County?

It seems like this project has taken a long time to get underway in Brick Township, but like a lot of things during the Coronavirus Pandemic it has been a slow go for development….including right here in Ocean County.

So several months ago I did an article about the former Boston Market in Brick Township and we asked about the status of this restaurant and possibly the future for the location....

Let’s first tell you where this building is, in Brick Township. It’s located on Route 88 East on the way to Point Pleasant.

Looks like Brick Township will soon have the convenience of another Super Wawa as the latest construction project looks to be nearing completion this summer.

It's the end of an era! We found out this week that the iconic Ocean Ice Palace in Brick will be closing its doors for good after nearly 60 years of memories here in Ocean County.
