I can’t imagine what it feels like to not have enough money to pay the rent or the mortgage. Making that decision to either put food on the table for your family or purchase your medication. Financial hardships create so much anxiety, sometimes the results from your choices come with a big cost to you and your family, even though you feel at the time they are correct. No one should ever be forced into that position.
Here we go again. We are not out of the woods yet when it comes to this Covid19 virus. Even if you have been vaccinated the new variants emerging are causing concern.
After the frequent hand washing, social distancing, staying at home and the mask mandate ramping up last summer to prevent the spread of Covid19, I began to think about how these practices would help prevent other ailments. Typically, each fall we prepare for the common cold and the flu. Most Americans make the decision, each year to get or not get the annual flu shot. Sometimes you get it, other times you don’t depend on whether you hear a story that someone got the flu from the shot itself.
